Learn About the Real Women
It’s no longer just about wearing red; it’s no longer just about sharing heart health facts. It’s about all women making a commitment to stand together with Go Red and taking charge of their own heart health as well as the health of those they can’t bear to live without. Making a commitment to your health isn’t something you have to do alone either, so grab a friend or a family member and Go Red today.
Women Need CPR, Too
Only about 39% of women receive CPR from bystanders in public compared to 45% of men. Brittany Williams and Sharell Weeams were two of the lucky ones whose lives were saved by CPR after they suddenly collapsed in public.
Best Friend Fridays
Research shows pet companionship is associated with overall better health and well-being. Multiple heart attack survivor Dina Pinelli credits her dog Ananda with helping to save her life and keeping her healthy. Share how your pet helps you stay healthy on social media each Friday this summer using #BestFriendFridays.
Make Your Mental Well-being a Priority
Overall wellness includes both physical and mental health. Learn how the 2023 Real Women Class of Survivors prioritize their mental well-being and get resources for managing your own.
